What will the students learn in this class?
Kids learn the fundamentals of baseball in a fun and nurturing environment. Besides developing such core skills as throwing, catching, hitting, base running and fielding through drills and games, they build fitness, self-confidence and a keen understanding of the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship.

What are the benefits of this class?
In addition to developing baseball-specific skills, young players improve their hand-eye coordination, agility, balance and overall fitness. A group-learning setting also gives kids a chance to interact with peers and make new friends.

Who will teach this class?
Frederic Hanvi (pictured) is the second French player to have signed a Major League Baseball contract, which he did at 18. He played professionally for eight years, gaining experience in various leagues in the United States, Japan, Canada, Australia and Europe. As a member of the French national team, he participated in three World Baseball Classic qualifiers and four European championships.
