Dancing in the Rain

Prepare to party up a storm at an evening of live music, drinks, raffle prizes and mingling.

This lively bash will feature a performance by local talent Rain (pictured), accompanied by guitarist Francis Serna.

To add to the fun, partygoers will be able to make donations to receive sets of beads for chances to take part in the evening’s “heads or tails” game (all proceeds will go to Connections-supported charities) to win one night's stay for two with breakfast at The Tokyo Edition, Toranomon, Riedel glassware, Italian wine from Franciacorta Consortium and stunning jewelry from Amit.

Besides the dancing, drinks and great company, there will be Club-crafted bites from the standing buffet to satisfy, from berbere-spiced lamb chops and Umbrian porchetta to garlic-roasted vegetables and Peruvian yellowtail tiradito.

This promises to be one evening you won’t want to take a rain check on.

Heads or Tails Game

• Partygoers make ¥1,000 or ¥5,000 donations to receive sets of beads that represent chances to play (¥1,000 for one chance, ¥5,000 for six chances).
• The emcee asks participants to put their hands on their heads or “tails.”
• The emcee flips a coin and announces whether it is heads or tails.
• Unsuccessful participants remove a set of beads and the game continues until there is a winner.
