The first wine dinner of 2025 puts a spotlight on three leading brands from South Australia.
The Champagne-born Xavier Bizot is the son-in-law of the pioneering winemaker Brian Croser, who was the first person to bring Chardonnay grapes to Adelaide Hills and who founded the famed Petaluma winery in 1976.
From the winery and original vineyards, Bizot and his wife Lucy run Terre à Terre, Daosa and Tappanapa—which was launched by Brian Croser. The three brands produce high-quality sparkling and still wines that draw on the best of French and Australian traditions.
Join Bizot for an exquisite multicourse meal (see menu below) at 51 East, paired with wines from Terre à Terre, Daosa and Tappanapa. During the evening, he will share insights into the vintages being served and how each one tells the story of its terroir.
