Japan Association for Refugees Workshop

Connections teams up with the Japan Association for Refugees (JAR), which offers crucial assistance to refugees and asylum seekers through its dedicated support.

This special workshop for Club kids aged 10 to 15 explores the experience of refugees—those who have left their country due to conflict, danger or persecution.

On the day, participants will experience an insightful session, exploring what it feels like to start over in a new country and discovering how to offer a warm welcome. You'll gain an inside perspective on JAR's important work, including providing food, housing and legal guidance, through hands-on volunteering.

Sign up today for this opportunity to contribute to the local community and learn how to be part of a society that welcomes refugees.
