Young learners hit the track and rev up their interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
STEM Racing, a program officially supported by Formula 1 (F1), teaches STEM subjects through the process of designing, manufacturing, and racing a miniature F1 car.
Along with honing technical skills, the program formerly known as F1 in Schools tasks teams of three to six with developing and presenting a portfolio of design, engineering, and marketing ideas, helping them learn an array of project management skills as they bring their cars to life. The program culminates in a competition among teams from around the world.
At this introductory event, Club kids and parents can gain a deeper understanding of STEM Racing through a hands-on activity and by taking a look at miniature F1 cars and sample portfolios that have been used in competitions.
Don't miss this opportunity to get on the fast track for developing key 21st-century skills.
